Christy Crutchfield is an Atlanta native who didn't learn to love the South until she moved to Western Massachusetts to attend the UMass Amherst MFA for Poets & Writers. She has been published in numerous journals and is the winner of the Daniel and Merrily Glosband award, judged by Keith Waldrop. She lives in Easthampton, MA where she serves on the Easthampton Cultural Council. She teaches writing and assists in the Low Residency MFA at Western New England University.
